MS Society Chorley & Leyland Group

The Chorley & Leyland group of the MS Society are here to support people living with multiple sclerosis (MS) locally.

MS is a neurological condition affecting an estimated 341 people in the area covered by our group. We offer regular face-to-face and online exercise classes to enable people with MS to keep mobility. We also offer weekly hydrotherapy sessions so that people with MS can exercise with less pain than they feel on dry land using a community pool as a social environment. 

In addition, we provide home-based physiotherapy, podiatry and reflexology for people with MS whose disability precludes them from getting out for therapies. Our therapists have been carefully recruited to identify isolation and encourage their clients with MS to participate and to be the link between those with higher mobility needs and others with MS.
