Albert House Residential Home

Albert House is a 29‑bedded care home, including a dedicated seven‑bedded residential dementia unit. We are committed to delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care, ensuring every resident and their family feels valued, supported and part of the Albert House community.

Located in Colne, we maintain strong links with our local area and actively participate in community events and activities. Our residents particularly enjoy our well‑known animal therapy visits, which have included donkeys, alpacas, rabbits, dogs and sheep — experiences that bring joy, comfort and meaningful engagement.

To ensure the highest standards of clinical care, we hold a weekly ward round with the Pendle East Care Home Team, providing holistic reviews for our residents. In addition, we conduct a monthly GP round to support ongoing health and wellbeing.
