Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service
A 12-week personal development programme for 16-25 year olds. It aims to help young people build up skills, confidence and motivation to help them to move on with their lives into further education, training or employment.
When you join the programme, you’ll be challenged to:
  • Take on your own group community project, making a positive difference to the place where you live
  • Have the chance to take part in a fun-filled residential trip
  • Get two weeks’ work experience in something you’re interested in
  • Develop your English, maths, communication and teamwork skills
  • Have the opportunity to achieve a qualification
As part of the course, you'll also spend some time developing your interview and CV skills to ensure your confidence is sky-high when taking the next step.

The programme is completely free and won’t affect your Jobseeker’s Allowance.
