Turfcote Care and Nursing Home is a well-established care and nursing home providing high-quality residential, nursing and dementia care in a safe, supportive and homely environment.
We support adults with a wide range of needs, including complex nursing requirements, dementia and cognitive impairment, physical disabilities, frailty, palliative and end-of-life care. Our experienced multidisciplinary team includes registered nurses on site 24 hours a day, skilled care staff and visiting healthcare professionals, ensuring individualised, person-centred care at all times.
Care at Turfcote is tailored to each resident through comprehensive assessments, personalised care plans and ongoing review, promoting dignity, independence and choice. We work closely with families, GPs, district nurses, specialist services and local authorities to ensure continuity and quality of care.
Our services include medication management, mobility and moving and handling support, nutritional support, pressure care, continence care and meaningful activities designed to enhance wellbeing and social engagement.

Additional Information
All admissions to Turfcote Care and Nursing Home are subject to a comprehensive pre-admission assessment to ensure we can safely and appropriately meet the individual’s needs.
Fees are negotiable and are assessed on an individual basis. Our standard rates are aligned with Lancashire County Council fee structures. Where a resident’s assessed needs exceed the standard local authority funding rate, a third-party top-up fee may apply. Any top-up is determined following a full dependency assessment and is discussed and agreed in advance with the relevant parties.
