M3 Project
M3 Project is a specialist charity based in Rossendale that provides accommodation across East Lancashire, offering support to young people aged 16–21 (up to 25 for care leavers) who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
The organisation works to help vulnerable young people access safe and stable housing through services such as supported lodgings with trained host providers and accommodation for young parents through the Teenage Family Project.
In addition to providing a place to live, M3 offers practical and emotional support to help individuals build independence. This includes guidance with education, training, employment and essential life skills such as budgeting, cooking and managing a tenancy.
Through its services, the M3 Project aims to give young people the stability and confidence they need to move on from crisis situations and progress towards a positive, independent future.

Referral Details
Referrals to the M3 Project are typically made by professionals, such as social workers, housing officers, youth services or other support agencies working with young people. Referrals must be completed using the appropriate referral form and submitted to the M3 office, usually with the young person’s consent.
Self-referrals may be accepted in some circumstances, but most placements - particularly for supported lodgings and the Teenage Family Project - are coordinated through professional agencies to ensure suitability, safeguarding and appropriate support planning.
Prior to referral, the service should be explained to the young person and they must be willing to engage with the support provided.
