Z's Defence Academy
Z’s Defence Academy is an award-winning community chairty dedicated to empowering females through self-defence, fitness, sports, walking/hiking, education and personal development.
Founded by inspirational speaker and community champion Zee Jogi, the academy works with schools, community groups, corporate organisations, women’s groups, and young people to build confidence, resilience and life skills through structured training programmes.
We specialise in delivering self-defence and personal safety training, teaching practical techniques that help individuals stay safe, aware and confident in real-life situations. Our sessions are suitable for beginners to advanced participants and can be adapted for schools, colleges, workplaces and community settings. We run female-only sessions, youth classes and community wellbeing programmes to ensure everyone has access to a safe and supportive environment to train.
In addition to physical training, we offer educational workshops and courses, including safeguarding awareness, physical intervention and disengagement training, confidence building, anti-bullying workshops and motivational talks. These sessions are designed to develop both physical ability and mental strength.
We also deliver outdoor and adventure activities, including hiking, team-building, wellbeing walks, and leadership development programmes, helping people connect with nature while improving their physical and mental health.
