LSCFT NHS Talking Therapies
Lancashire South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust Talking Therapies is a psychological therapy service offering a range of free talking therapies to people aged 16 and over in Lancashire and South Cumbria.

One in four people in the UK will experience a mental health problem each year. Many of us go through difficult times in our lives, which can leave us feeling worried, anxious or depressed and feeling unable to cope. Talking Therapies offer a range of brief psychological interventions to support people’s differing emotional needs, including:
  • generalised anxiety issues
  • panic
  • depression and low mood
  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder,
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
  • anxiety or low mood as a result of long-term conditions such as chronic pain or cardiovascular conditions

Our treatment and therapy options are provided online via video link, telephone and face-to-face. All treatment is free and people can self refer on the website www.lscft.nhs.uk/talkingtherapies.
