Abraham House

Abraham House is a well-regarded residential care home in Preston, providing 24-hour care for older people living with dementia.

We provide person-centred care in a safe, homely and calm environment, with trained staff on site at all times.

Our approach focuses on maintaining independence and dignity, supporting choice, and providing gentle, reassuring care that reflects each person’s preferences and helps them feel settled. We work closely with residents, families and professionals to understand each person’s life history, preferences and communication needs, and we tailor care accordingly, with regular reviews.

We support all aspects of daily living, including personal care, continence support, mobility assistance, medication support, nutrition and hydration, and engagement in social and recreational activities. We also help residents to access local health services where needed and keep families appropriately updated.

Abraham House is regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and welcomes both Lancashire County Council-funded residents and self-funded residents.
