Read and Simonstone Village Hall
Read and Simonstone Village Hall is the heart of two village communities and the surrounding areas.
It is hired for weekly classes and services such as yoga, children's dance, Scouts, a tots group (during term time only) and a community café. A men’s workshop is also provided to encourage talking and sharing, thus improving mental health.
The Village Hall is run by a team of dedicated volunteers. It has a main hall and a small meeting room.
The main hall is available for the hire of private events such as weddings, children’s parties and special event celebrations. It can accommodate up to 80 guests sitting at tables, or 100 guests sitting theatre style. We have a sound and lighting equipment complete with a projector screen and a performance stage.
The small room can accommodate up to 20 people. It is furnished boardroom style and is ideal for meetings. There is a screen to hold meetings in a hybrid setting.
We also have a fully-equipped kitchen with two ovens and a microwave. Viewing is always welcome.
