Chorley Family History Research Centre
Whether you are an absolute beginner thinking about how to start your Family Tree or you have hit a brick wall with your research, the experienced volunteers at the Chorley Family History Research Centre can give you help and advice.
The centre is equipped with online access to genealogy and family history resources as well as a library with a wide range of family history related subjects. There are also Lancashire Parish Records and Monumental Inscriptions as well as other records not available online.
Appointments can be booked to make sure help is available at busy times. The centre is situated in Astley Park close to the Hallgate car park and Astley Hall. There is a café and a shop nearby for refreshments.

Usually first and third Mondays of the month and first, second, third and fourth Wednesdays and Fridays - all 10am-4pm.
Second Satutrday of the month from noon to 4pm. -
