Children's Health and Paediatrics - Mersey and west Lancashire Teaching Hospitals

The Trust provides a wide range of services and facilities for children and young people, and information and support for their parents.

Services are provided from Ormskirk hospital with a wide range of community settings, including children’s own homes.

The children’s wards and departments have play areas and play specialists who help the children through their visit or stay. They use play to support children emotionally through some of the necessary treatments they may undergo.
